When I got married I planned most of it myself. There wasn’t really a ton of helpful tips and tricks out there for planning a decent wedding on a budget either. The internet was just getting popular and ordering services or merchandise off of it wasn’t considered reliable at all. The only help I had was experience from people who had been married 30 plus years earlier and the occasional bridal magazine filled with advertisements in the back.
Luckily for today’s brides there are web sites like mywedding.com. Signing up with the site is free and easy and will allow you to keep track of all your wedding planning information. You will be able to access and keep track of information that is all centered about the location that you choose. You can pick from a list of locations scattered through the United States and start looking at upcoming events like bridal shows and showcases.
What would a site like this be without offering you your own free wedding website? You just simply sign up, choose the design you want, and then tell your story the way you want it to be told. Last, share it with friends, family, or the world. This is a perfect wedding memento that I wish I could say I have. What a great way to share with family and friends what is going on with your wedding planning.
The site is full of fun stuff like giveaways and polls for you to enjoy. Probably the most interesting and important feature of the site is the blog. The blog keeps you up to date on the latest news and issues in wedding culture. I mean I had no clue about options for the menu until I read about The Mini Entree. I love the idea of this mini food sampling for a wedding reception. Without that blog, I’d have never even considered it. This is an invaluable tool for brides to be!
