Time To Move

Today we were dreaming about starting our own business and moving to another town. A bigger town. Here it seems that everything is moving and we’d better get on board or get left behind. I made sure the husband knew I’d be taking full advantage of moving services and not doing it all myself. I hate the thought of moving! Packing and all that stuff just sounds mind numbing to me. It might not matter, we may have to do it before it’s over with. A move to one of the bigger cities like Indianapolis is looking inevitable. I’m wondering if in 5 years it’s going to primarily farmers living in this area?

Be Aware

I’ve been thinking a lot about my health lately. It seems like everyone is sick around me. My grandmother was just diagnosed with COPD and is having a really rough time. She smoked most of her life. A friend of mine had a relative who died from mesothelioma, which was caused by a previous job. It’s not just what you put in your body, or how you exercise and stay in shape that can cause you to have these life threatening diseases. It’s everything around you, your job, and your friends and family. I’ve noticed that the little ones in my family that are under 1-3 years of age are way less healthy because they have a parent or parents who smoke. The ones who don’t smoke have perfectly healthy children. It’s really sad that we have to be aware of every thing surrounding us now.

No Guarantees!

I’ve sort of been moping around the house lately. I just don’t know what to do with myself since Sydney is in school full time now? I recently got a small business opportunity that I think I want to take on, but I’m just not sure if I need to be working full time right now. I’m so afraid that Sydney is going to require extra help in school and just as soon as I start my project is when I’ll have to cut myself off from the project and let others down. I wish I had a magic ball telling me it’s all going to be ok, but I guess this is life. No guarantees!

Odd Symptoms

Ok so I’ve had a major issue with my doctor lately. My wonderful, be all, know all doctor of GYN is only practicing one day a week now. She’s decided that she loves teaching so much that she’ll devote herself to that full time and keep up with patients on Thursdays. That’s going to make it harder to get into her. It’s also going to make things harder because she’s moved to another office, and just like when I called to get my prescription refilled they could not find my chart. I was without my lovely medication for days and luckily today I got the thing filled. I was starting to go downhilll really, really fast. I’m not sure if it’s a lack of progesterone or what but my neck is twitching. Sometimes hormonal fluctuations cause weird little instances like this. It’s really becoming a huge muscle pain in my neck somewhere. It’s probably a gland all out of whack because of the lack of medication. Lovely life this is with gynecological problems!

Really, Really Tired

They keep telling me that if you exercise more you will have more energy. This whole concept to me is just crazy. It feels like I would be spending more energy that I don’t have on something that sucks energy from you? Anyway because I don’t exercise at all I think it might be worth a try. I started looking at some treadmills
trying to find one I like that is in my budget as well. I originally started looking for something that was compact, but I think it’s better to go with a larger one at this point. Any suggestions?

Natures Best

Do you look up natural treatments and cures on the net sometimes? I am about to look some up. I need something for heartburn. I know, it sound gross. I can’t help it. We don’t have anything here to help me and I know there is some simple remedy out there that could make me feel a whole lot better. I’m miserable right now. I’ve also got another outbreak on my face. It’s annoying as all get out. I’m 32 not 12 and I don’t really want to deal with this. I think I’ll look up some natural acne treatments while I’m at it.

Indian Summer?

You know that’s one term I misuse all the time. I need to look up the true definition of it and see if it’s what I think it is. I think it’s when it starts to get cool, the autumn time around Indiana and then we have a really bad heat wave. Is that what it’s technically called? Indian summer? Right now it’s mid August and should by all means be so scorching hot you can’t stand it. The last two days have been gorgeous. Breezy and cool with a high under 70! I love it. It has me in the mood for fall so bad I can’t stand it. My favorite time of year! Maybe I’ll just go with fall themed layouts for all the sites already? Maybe.

What Did Beethoven Paint Again?

The other day while watching a reality show I found myself not knowing things that I should know. Things that the average, uneducated waitress from your local Hooters seemed to know right along with every type of beer that was made. I felt a little old, after all I knew the difference between Picasso and Monet when I was a student. I distinctly remember learning about these two in fine arts classes.

I’m pretty sure where I went wrong was becoming a mommy and giving up my love of art completely. Aside from the occasional reference to great painters on a cartoon, I’m done. Or am I? I’ve found the greatest way to revive my love of art and sneak in a vacation at the same time. Park West Art Gallery is home to the largest collection of fine art in the world and offers fine art auctions through the U.S. and Canada.

Their affiliate company, Park West at Sea manages to conduct business aboard a cruise ship. How can you really go wrong with that? I took a look around the site and fell in love with Compositions Pour Le Piano. It’s gorgeous and I would love to wake up to it every morning hanging in my bedroom. Right now there’s a summer sale going on so head on over and browse the gallery!

Dry, Red Eyes?

Just like that stupid Visine commercial says I’ve got them. Let me tell you, Visine AC is not working for me anymore. I’ve also got a fair amount of drainage going on here. My doctor talked me into trying a new medication called XYZAL instead of Zyrtec. It blows. Zyrtec is the good old standby that I should have never doubted. Even though I have a prescription card and get my meds at $7.50 and $15.00 I’m ready to run out and pay $20.00 for OTC Zyrtec right now. It’s either that or die from it!

What’s Your IQ?

Wow. I thought I was pretty up to the minute on all things debt related. I got a huge reality check tonight. I took the Bills IQ and my score is only a 74%. That’s a C. When you stop and consider that this is my life, my savings, my investments, and retirement then a C leaves a lot to be desired. The good news is that Bills IQ has a ton of tools to help me get my IQ up, when it comes to financial matters that is.

This quiz is perfect for people of all ages. Whether you are just starting out or close to retirement age. If you are just starting out you do have the advantage because you’ll see where you are going wrong with your current train of thought. Maybe you need some help with Debt consolidation to get you on track monthly? BillsIQ can do that.

If you are close to retirement age it could help you make some really important changes that make all the difference in the long run. You could retire quicker and not struggle like so many others do monthly with Debt relief. I realized that I need to get on the ball with wills and insurance matters and most importantly I need a budget to track where my money goes monthly.

For me, I’m willing to take any type of Debt help I can get. If it gets me closer to my ultimate goals. I’m so stuck on moving right now I even wrote a poem about my small house blues, ok so my poetry skills might be right on par with my debt IQ!

Bigger Nicer House I Want
Credit card debt Stops Me
Consolidate debt To Change It?

Let’s recap what I learned. You’ll never be as on top of your credit as you think you are because the world of financials is always changing. If you need Credit counseling it’s better to get it now then to file Bankruptcy later. Lastly, BillsIQ is always there to help with whatever services you need and to keep you educated on the issues regarding your credit.
