What Did Beethoven Paint Again?
The other day while watching a reality show I found myself not knowing things that I should know. Things that the average, uneducated waitress from your local Hooters seemed to know right along with every type of beer that was made. I felt a little old, after all I knew the difference between Picasso and Monet when I was a student. I distinctly remember learning about these two in fine arts classes.
I’m pretty sure where I went wrong was becoming a mommy and giving up my love of art completely. Aside from the occasional reference to great painters on a cartoon, I’m done. Or am I? I’ve found the greatest way to revive my love of art and sneak in a vacation at the same time. Park West Art Gallery is home to the largest collection of fine art in the world and offers fine art auctions through the U.S. and Canada.
Their affiliate company, Park West at Sea manages to conduct business aboard a cruise ship. How can you really go wrong with that? I took a look around the site and fell in love with Compositions Pour Le Piano. It’s gorgeous and I would love to wake up to it every morning hanging in my bedroom.
