Get Customized With Wine Labels

Have you ever wondered how to get custom labels for your business? I have. I wanted something with a good quality that would look professional and not like it was made on a home computer. Of course, the business logo is key. Label World can make your food/wine company or even Wine Bottle Labels for something like a wedding reception. Large custom orders are welcome.

Is It Black Friday Yet?

This weekend I was telling my aunt that I was already looking forward to the thanksgiving ads that come out. I told her that shopping on the day after Thanksgiving gave me the biggest rush and was more fun than I have had in years. It’s sad, but it’s very true. I love to shop. I love getting more for my money just about as much as anything I can think of. It also helps out with the expense of Christmas.

So after the general rush of last years running to the store I came home and settled into the computer chair and logged onto save me some more money and buy me some more presents! I was a shopping fool. Honestly, if you can’t get out to shop or it’s too much for you to handle then you can do it all from home on a Black-Friday.net site and save just as much money.

My grandmother was having a hard time getting around and needed constant help from me, which slowed me down. I had seen some previous deals that I was interested in on the net but was surprised to see them still available after noon that day. I noticed one thing, it was good for electronics deals. I didn’t really have the money to buy any electronics or need any right then, but if I want a laptop I’m waiting for Black Friday to roll around this year. I mainly made a few small toy purchases from KB Toys but still saved over half of the regular retail price on them.

As a bonus I just realized that the Black-Friday.net site is offering email alerts that tell you when new ads have been posted. It’s already a very simple site to use, but having the email alerts telling me when things are added really takes any work out of the process of finding deals. It couldn’t be easier to save money.

I Heart Retail Therapy

Sydney usually spends Friday night at my mother’s house. Due to a work change last night was probably the last one for a while. We decided to take advantage of this last opportunity and do some child free shopping. I was browsing D&G sunglasses. I think I’m stuck on Marc Jacobs though. I was also drooling over an orange Coach bag that I wanted. So cute for summer. Kevin didn’t care for it, he actually stuck his nose up at it. He did find some simple sunglasses that he liked and a couple of Patek Gondolo watches that he wouldn’t mind having. Myself? I’ve decided I need to go back and check on a D&G bag that I had my eye on, and perhaps get that cute little orange thing!

My Computer Is So Mean To Me

I’m pretty convinced my computer hates me. I’m very impatient and the computer has been mocking me lately. The last two days I’ve experienced pages that won’t load, yet won’t time out either. It just sits there taunting me until I shut the whole session down. My husband says I try to do too much at one time. Ok, so maybe I do. I suggested buying another computer and he said it’s not going to do any good until we have something “made” for me and what I’m trying to do. I suggested barebones computer for him to look at because I’m sick of this set up we have going.

Win A Handbag Courtesy Of ScribbleScratch

Some people just have the best ideas…ever. Teresa is holding a new contest over at her personal blog. Those entering have a chance at winning a lovely and uniquely designed half moon handbag by Patti. Teresa is also willing to ship the prize anywhere, so no matter where you live you can participate.

Journey over to her site and take a look at the handbag. It’s so cute it’s ridiculous. I’m pretty bummed I didn’t win the jewelry she gave away last month, at this rate she’s going to cause my shopping addiction to go through the roof. I’m going to just have to start buying the stuff I don’t win on her site, but I sure don’t mind. It’s all in the name of accessorizing!

But I Don’t Want To

I don’t want to do anything or see anything exciting today. For some reason I’ve been going non stop. The real desire of my life was to stay home and tackle my kitchen, it has yet to happen. My gosh it’s a mess. My kitchen table is once again filled with anything that doesn’t have an automatic place or use. My husband is currently harassing me to go to Chili’s. I’m not really in the mood for dining out, but I do love the chips and salsa they have. I think I’m a chips and salsa addict. The people, I could take or leave. The atmosphere I could chuck in the road.

I’ve done a fair amount of shopping today. Everyone is having super winter sales today. I got Sydney an outfit for next Christmas that is just too cute. It’s a black ballet skirt and a red top that has a belt, black polka dots, and I think a fake white button down under it. It will be too cute next year.

I Heart Coupons

My husband’s hobby is golf. Behind me, the child, and probably eating for survival it’s his great love in this world. Golf also happens to be a very expensive hobby to take on. There are always new things or new versions of things you already have hitting the market. A serious golfer will do just about anything to keep improving his game. It’s always a welcome sign when we get Dick’s Sporting Goods coupons. Dick’s is one of the actual sporting goods stores that sells golf products we have access to here in our corner of the United States. The coupon makes me smile as much as golf makes him!

Spits O’ Snow

I never really realized how tiring shopping can be. Anyway I dropped Sydney off at school and it was freezing cold. I came home, chilled (literally) for a while and picked up my BFF and went shopping. Our trip helped push me over the edge for inspiration. I’ve really been wanting to get back into making some jewelry lately and seeing better beads and things made me buy a book for some ideas. I’m about to log onto a site and see what I can get for a new project I’m going to start.

Apparently it’s going to keep snowing, and snowing, and snowing some more so I’ll have plenty of time to sit in here and craft. We swung by and picked Sydney up at 11:30 then swung by to pick Kevin up. We all headed out to Chili’s to eat. They screwed up Kevin’s order so when they brought the check they had taken the original messed up order off and not charged for his actual food. SCORE. Sydney ate like a piglet, she had two scoops of vanilla with chocolate syrup as a reward for eating her cheese quesadilla and mandarin oranges.

After that we made a Starbuck’s run because I’m an addict. We took BFF home and headed to the grocery store. I spent way too much money there. I could have kept shopping and shopping. Sad really. By the time I got home around 4:00 I was so tired I wanted to drop. Hence why I’m on my way to bed after I fold and hang some laundry. Gotta love the laundry!

Spring I Want You

My gosh. I thought a slight rise in temps was a good thing. Nope. Apparently they are advertising snow again on the radio. I spent my afternoon after Target going to the dollar store and Family Dollar store. Ok I’ve came up with a theory here. Yes, sometimes you can find good deals on things. Deals that would just blow your mind. They also seem to have an abundance of Disney Princess items for some reason. I’m not trying to sound cheap, but I was in search of cheap and preferably large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, soap, and other bath items.

The reason? I’m getting ready to send another package to Karina and it honestly is expensive to do. She also is going to summer camp and needs a new suit, beach towel, sunscreen, and assorted blow up toys or beach balls. As you can imagine all of that stuff is out of season and I’m going to have to ebay it. Although Target did have some suits out today, but nothing that would work for her.

All of this has to be mailed by the first week of March. The mailing to the ministry itself will cost me around $25.00 to $30.00 and then I put a $25.00 donation check inside to help cover freight costs. So I was trying to save myself money. I ended up getting a good deal on the ziploc bags that I needed, but that’s it. Plus the people that are in there were just freaking annoying me. I’ve decided if they don’t have it at WalMart it’s not a bargain. I’m not doing that anymore.

The very old lady who worked there was telling about about the snow and complaining. I also got very upset with them last night. I had Kevin drive me over to one last night and I found a bin in the middle with basically junk for kids, and when I say junk I mean it. However, when you live in an orphanage or apparently are a 4 year old this kinds of stuff is  considered gold. I jumped on buying a few jelly bracelets and play jewelry or hair accessories for .50, .25, .75 cents.

When I got the cash register they told me I couldn’t have one of them. Why? It won’t ring up. It’s old merchandise and it has to be thrown out we can’t sell it. Wow. So I wanted it and instead of keying in .50 and making money you are going to sit there like an idiot and tell me it’s going to be thrown out because it’s old? Humm. Then Kevin started to tell me how WalMart does this with clothing. They actually found out trash men were taking the clothes out of the dumpsters and keeping them. They now cut a line with a box cutter so they can’t be resold.

What bothers me is that they don’t donate the coats to kids in America, but they pimp out Coats For Kids. They want you to buy the coat and donate it, and then they will throw it away when the season is over. Or actually when kids could still be wearing them. It’s all made me want to do two things. Call up these stores and see if they will give me this crap for the orphans. Secondly I just want to go dive in the dumpster and see what I can find because apparently they throw out power tools as well.

It’s all a little idiotic to me.

A Day At Target

I decided that we spend 99% of our lives shopping. I was all happy to go out of town so I could hit the Target today. Nothing really exciting happened at Target, but I managed to snag a few decent deals. I saw a store called Great Deals On Everything. I wanted to stop, but it’s going to have to wait until next time. Neither of us were feeling very well due to lack of sleep we were just ready to go. We spent so much time in Target searching for HDMI cables that it wasn’t funny, then we got lost from each other and I swear we were there for 2 hours. In the end we ended up with no new cables either. I’m ready for this day to be over!
