Holy Kitties
You know I might as well just start a category for stupid things I see in the news. I swear. If Sydney were here she’d have been crying her eyes out over this one. The local news reported that a woman in a small town outside of Fort Wayne was made to put more than 200 cats to sleep. I think they said 212, but I’m not completely sure.
Here is what I don’t understand. They let her keep 5 of them? WHAT THE HELL????? Here is the kicker. She had a 14 year old son and a 16 year old daughter living in the house with her. The floor was covered with what the news lady said was cat feces and food. The children were not taken away from her. She got to pick 5 cats to keep. She is being charged with animal endangerment though. Wow. She’ll probably get a whole $200 fine or something.
The cats were not able to be adopted out because they were not domesticated. It makes me wonder how the family lived there? I always wonder about the crazy cat lady and if the cats eventually turn on them or what? You just can’t have that many animals in a small area together they will be territorial. Stupid people.
